The road was closed completely between the Västerledsmotet junction and the Västjädra junction in the direction of Köping and Örebro.

One person complained of back pain, and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
At 20.30 a lane could be opened, and according to the Swedish Transport Administration's forecast, the rescue work is expected to continue until approximately 21:00.
