The socialists want to fry us with taxes, but we are not going to let them

to raise taxes on the people of Madrid.

Do not be fooled: it is not ERC, but the PSOE, the great architect of this operation, whose aim is none other than to fry taxes on families and companies in our region. Both the Government and the socialist regions have long claimed the need to "harmonize" regional taxes.

And not only

, but, very especially,

, which is subsidized at 99% in Madrid and which also has substantial discounts in other communities.

He's been saying it for over a year.

ERC has been the weapon, but the PSOE is the mastermind behind the coup. The Community of Madrid has been lowering taxes for 16 years with remarkable success, saving Madrid residents more than 48,000 million euros, an average of 15,000 euros per taxpayer.

And the main beneficiaries are the middle and low income.

For example, a worker with an income of 20,000 euros a year has saved more than 69,000 euros, the equivalent of three years of salary, thanks to these reductions. The model works.

The combination of low taxes, economic freedom and legal certainty has made the

Due to ideological stubbornness, the government of socialists and communists is willing to ruin this model through formulas that, in addition, bypass the Constitution.

The cost of such illegality would be very high.

An inheritance of 160,000 euros would go from paying 22 euros to more than 2,200, a hundred times more, for the "harmonization", which is nothing more than triggering taxation. They say that Madrid is a "tax haven", but it is not true.

Succession practically does not exist in 15 European states.

The Wealth Tax simply should not exist, and in fact all EU countries have abolished it.

It is Madrid that has a tax system similar to the European one and Sánchez the one that goes in the opposite direction. They say that Madrid does "

", but it is not true. All the autonomies, except

, have the same powers and, therefore, are very free to lower taxes, like Madrid.

The problem is that some do not want to and, therefore, demand to upload them to the people of Madrid. They say that Madrid takes advantage of its "capital status", but it is not true.

In Madrid 84,000 million euros are collected each year from VAT, personal income tax and special taxes, but only 19,000 remain in the region.

The rest goes to the State or other autonomous communities.

They say that Madrid lowers taxes at the expense of the other autonomous communities, but it is not true.

With the taxes of the Madrilenians, 68% of the fund that guarantees the hospitals and schools of 14 other autonomous communities is financed.

That is not taking advantage, that is solidarity, and we are proud that Madrid helps others, and they say that lowering taxes takes away resources from public services.

It is also not true.

Madrid applied new bonuses in 2019 and revenues increased.

Successions collects more today than in 2004, when the sales began.

And, of course, no one who is not a sectarian can say, after this pandemic year, that health or education has not been up to par. No excuses.

It is not that the PSOE wants to correct something that is wrong.

What the government does not understand or share is that the money belongs to the people and that where it is best is in their pockets.

The Community of Madrid, with

at the helm, it is not going to allow the PSOE, the ERC or anyone to blow up our fiscal autonomy to fry the people of Madrid with taxes.

They will face us and not only us, as a Government, but all the people of Madrid.
