The National Meteorological Department records a magnitude 5 earthquake in southern Iran

The National Seismic Network stations affiliated to the "National Center of Meteorology" recorded an earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale at a depth of 10 km, south of Iran at 8:00 am this morning, according to the local time of the United Arab Emirates.

It is reported that the earthquake was almost imperceptible in the state.
