Occupation Army Radio said that an official Bahraini delegation will visit Israel on Tuesday, which is the second official delegation within two weeks, after the announcement of the agreement to normalize relations between Tel Aviv and Manama.

The Bahraini delegation will be headed by Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, who visited Israel last week - according to the radio - and is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

And Israeli radio stated that the arrival of two delegations from Bahrain to Tel Aviv, within two weeks, indicates the warmth of relations between the two sides.

It quoted political sources as saying that the visit might witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding regarding direct flights between Tel Aviv and Manama.

Minister Al-Zayani met last week with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Israeli Trade Promotion Agency and the CEO of Bank Hapoalim, Israel's largest bank.

The Bahrain News Agency reported that Al-Zayani met with Adiv Baruch, head of the Israeli Institute for Export and International Cooperation, and other members of the Israeli trade delegation visiting the Kingdom.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported the opening of an embassy in the capital, Manama, on the fourth of next month.

It also indicated that Bahrain had submitted a formal request to the Israeli authorities to open an embassy in Tel Aviv.

It is noteworthy that, in mid-September, Israel signed two normalization agreements with each of the Emirates and Bahrain, at the American White House, under the auspices of the outgoing President Donald Trump.
