Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - For the start as Stuttgart Lord Mayor, Frank Nopper (CDU) has his sights set on the first projects that he wants to tackle directly.

This included the acceleration and reduction of bureaucracy in administrative procedures, he said on the Stuggi.TV station on Sunday evening, even before the votes of all electoral districts were counted - at that point he was already clearly in the lead.

Nopper also wants to promote renovations and digitization at the Stuttgart schools.

The local council has already released the funds for it, he explained.

The implementation is still missing.

Nopper emphasized that he wanted to “be a mayor for everyone” and build bridges.

His goal is not to disappoint his voters and to win the trust of those who did not vote for him.
