"Today the government is ratifying the aviation agreement and the agreement on scientific and technical cooperation, which it has concluded with the UAE," Arab News quoted him as saying.

He called the ratification "another important milestone in strengthening relations" between the two countries.

“We will continue to develop and expand them through the conclusion of additional agreements,” added Gendelman.

On September 15, the UAE and Bahrain signed agreements with Israel to normalize relations.

The documents were signed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdul Latif al-Zayani and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The ceremony took place at the White House.
