The Pennsylvania Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit by the Republican Party to invalidate the election results in the state, while US President Donald Trump vowed to file a case in Wisconsin over what he described as illegal votes.

On Saturday, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit filed by Republican Representative Mike Kelly and Congressional candidate Sean Parnell to invalidate the state's election results.

The Republican complaint calls for either nullifying the mail vote, or canceling the vote entirely in order for state legislators to leave the decision to choose the winner. President-elect Joe Biden won in Pennsylvania by 81,000 votes.

Trump had renewed his doubts about the election results, during a conversation with members of the American forces abroad on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day last Thursday, and said that the voting devices were beset by problems and the votes in more than one place were transferred to (Democratic candidate Joe) Biden, "as if we are in a country of the world the third".

He added that Biden did not get 80 million votes, and that the numbers are false and the elections are rigged.

It is scheduled that the electoral college will hold a meeting on December 14, and the president-elect is expected to be installed on January 20.

Trump said he would appeal court rulings in Pennsylvania that thwarted his legal team's efforts to reverse the election results.

He added in a tweet on Twitter that fraud and illegality constitute a large part of the electoral process in the state, as he described it.

And in Wisconsin, Trump said that the state's recount is not about finding errors in the count, but rather about finding people who voted illegally.

Trump said he would file this case after the recount ends on Monday or Tuesday, saying, "We found many illegal votes, stay tuned."

For its part, the American Bloomberg Network quoted informed sources that Trump is now aware that his battle to cancel the election results is over.

The network added that Trump is not ready to end this battle, as he wants to collect donations money from the angry at the results.

The sources said that Trump will leave the White House without admitting defeat, and will continue to insist that the elections are rigged.

transfer of power

While the president-elect remains silent about Trump's statements and tweets, the political transition process is proceeding smoothly, according to what Biden's transition team announced, which will be able to use millions of dollars as part of preparations for the presidency on January 20.

Biden said last Tuesday that his team was able to coordinate with the Trump administration on the Corona pandemic, and had plans to distribute vaccines and national security files since he got the green light on Monday for the official transition process.
