Even though the Spanish disease was quickly forgotten, it became very important for how health care worked after the pandemic was over, according to Peter Englund.

He believes that corona will have the same kind of consequences.

Healthcare will be affected and perhaps also certain habits - for example, we will stop flying to conferences on the other side of the globe.

But we will soon be comfortable hugging again, Peter Englund thinks.

- The need for closeness, to touch each other and be very many people in a small room and shout, it is part of our nature and we want to return to it.

It may feel strange for a while but then we are there again, he says in My truth.

- It will not remain as a dark shadow over our existence, I almost dare to promise.
