This was reported by the radio station NDR with reference to a representative of Nord Stream 2 AG.

It is noted that the Administration of Waterways and Shipping in Stralsund has already urged ship captains to be especially careful when moving south of the Adlergrund area in the Baltic Sea in connection with the start of construction work there on 5 December.

According to the radio station, it is in this area that two branches of the future Nord Stream 2 pipelines end.

Earlier, the Norwegian company Det Norske Veritas - Germanischer Lloyd (DNV GL), which is the certifier of Nord Stream 2, withdrew from the project due to the threat of US sanctions.
