Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp played down the importance of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah's reaction during his change in the 1-1 draw against Brighton today, Saturday, in the English Premier League.

Salah seemed unhappy with the decision to substitute him in the 60th minute of the match, and the footage showed his dissatisfaction with the German coach's decision.

But Klopp, edged speculation about any disagreement, saying in remarks after the match, "The day Mohamed Salah smiles when he leaves the field, something is really wrong. I understand it 100%."

He added, "But the problem is that he missed 10 days because of his infection with the Coronavirus, then he trained once, played 60 minutes, then played 3 days later again. We just have to be careful. He does not like that, we know that, but this is what it is."

The assistant video referee deprived Salah of a goal in the first half for offside, and the Egyptian star missed the opportunity to consolidate his score of goals in the league, which reached 8 goals.

Despite the tie, Liverpool rose to the top of the Premier League temporarily after its score reached 21 points, one point ahead of Tottenham, who faces Chelsea tomorrow.
