For a person with a point of view, each group can be divided into thirds: those who reject the opinion that one has, those who are undecided, and those who share the opinion.

You can try to change the mind of the undecided.

One can expect opposition from those on the other side.

On the other hand, those who seek confirmation turn to the last group.

"Preaching to the choir" is what Americans call it: a sermon for the (church) choir.

Kind of pointless, but it feels good and you get a lot of applause.

After months of criticism of the handling of the corona pandemic, which is worthy of criticism, the federal government has decided in recent weeks to reward itself with encouragement.

She had three videos shot, which were then spread on social media under the heading “Special Heroes” and placed on TV as advertising.

It was told how easily anyone in the pandemic could become a hero: hanging out on the couch, playing computer games, etc. - the main thing is to stay at home.

The target group should obviously be young people.

But it seemed to me that people who liked the clip were primarily those who are gifted with enough money or at least appropriate jobs to hang out in front of the screen at home.

Including many, see above, who are fans of the government anyway.

The steadily growing group of those who take to the streets, sometimes let themselves be pulled under the spell of conspiracy ideologues and lose confidence in the rule of law, was not addressed.

That would have been much more important, but not so easy and fun.

On November 16, I wanted to know from the federal government what the costs for the videos and the broadcast were.

First I was replied that “no reliable information” was possible because “this information measure has not yet been billed”, then a little later that it was assumed that “the answer will be available to me soon”, in another email from On Friday it was finally said that “this will still be possible this year”.
