The sports pages of the newspapers published today, Saturday, devoted large spaces to talk about the achievement of Al-Ahly, the most crowned title in the history of the tournament, and the details of the exciting match.
Al-Ahly scored by its players Amr Al-Soulia and Mohamed Magdy (Qafsha) through a goal in each half.

"Akhbar Al-Youm" newspaper said on its front page, "Al-Ahly is Africa's champion for the ninth time," and that the victory "added a great achievement for the leader of the African continent, and strengthened his record in the number of times he won the championship."

On its inside pages, the newspaper added that "the Red Knights are the champions of Africa for the ninth time," "Al-Ahly defeats Zamalek and crowns the Black Princess," and "Two goals for Al-Sulayyah and Qafsha have decided the African title."
Meanwhile, the weekly "Sports News" devoted an entire issue to Al-Ahly's achievement, and it said in the headline, "Al-Ahly, the legend of Africa."

Al-Ahram daily newspaper focused on the financial gains Al-Ahly reaped by winning the continental Champions League title.

"Al-Ahly rakes $ 3.5 million by winning the African Champions League title," she said.
