  According to the Kashima Maritime Security Agency, after the accident, all 10 passengers and 2 crew members on the fishing boat fell into the water, and patrol boats and planes were dispatched to rescue the local area. All 12 people were rescued and one passenger was taken to the hospital. Later died due to ineffective rescue.
