The dispute began at an intersection in Grafenrheinfeld (Schweinfurt district), the police said on Friday.
Because the two cars in front of the family did not continue on Thursday evening despite the clear road, the father honked.
One of the drivers got out of the car and walked towards the family car with a twelve-year-old daughter on board.
According to the family's statement, the man showed his fists.
