The Paris Bourse rose 0.52% on Friday at mid-session and was preparing to end its fourth week of rise in a row, driven in particular by growing optimism about the rapid implementation of vaccines against Covid-19.

The Paris index advanced 29.10 points to 5,595.89 points around 1:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m. GMT).

The index is heading for an increase of some 1.8% for the week as a whole.

On a European scale, the evolution was done in dispersed order: Frankfurt gained 0.30% and Milan 0.45%, while London fell by 0.35%.
