In mid-May, the man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of exploiting children for sexual posing, abusive photography and the production, possession and dissemination of child pornography - that is, documented child abuse.
The suspicions received a lot of attention as the man has worked in Uppsala municipality's school operations.
- If I understand it all right, he is part of a substitute pool but had a part-time job through a substitute before.
But he has not had a regular job and he has not had an education, prosecutor Pontus Melander said at the time and went on to say that sexual crimes should not be linked to work.
Ten plaintiffs
The man was detained for 1.5 months before the prosecutor released him with remaining suspicions.
Ten children, regardless of age, are said to have been victims of crime.
- Nothing has happened since I joined the investigation, so I do not know much, says Hanna Hedlund, plaintiff's assistant to the ten children.
Pending prosecution, Pontus Melander does not want to comment on how the preliminary investigation is progressing.
- I can not go into it at all.
The investigator who was to work with that was busy with other things, so we have about a month left before the preliminary investigation is finished, he says.
Girl is suspected
In addition to the man, a girl under the age of 18 is also suspected of, among other things, a serious child pornography crime.
She was summoned for questioning and notified of suspicion this summer, but has not been detained.
The girl denies the crime.
- It's a special case.
As with all investigations with young people, you want it to be a priority, it is difficult for my client and for others to have it hanging over them.
You want an end, says Sanna Älgekrans, who represents the suspect girl.
