This is a big step forward for transport users.

From now on, the Navigo pass will be refunded automatically in the event of an "unacceptable situation" on a line, reveals

Le Parisien.

This measure is included in the new contract that will be signed next December, for four years, between Ile-de-France Mobilités and Transilien.

In detail, reimbursements will be automatic "if the punctuality is less than 80% for three to five months on a branch, including in the event of a strike", notes the daily.

In this case, users will receive a reimbursement of half a month.

But if the bad numbers continue, for six to nine months, the user will be reimbursed for a full month.

In addition, in the event of a strike, Ile-de-France Mobilités will also be compensated.
