Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - In Saarland, the number of infections with the coronavirus increased by 215 to a total of 12,562 confirmed cases within one day.
The number of confirmed deaths rose by one to 277, as the Ministry of Social Affairs announced on Friday (as of 6 p.m.).
Of the positively confirmed cases since the virus first appeared in Saarland, 10 047 people are now considered cured.
2238 people are currently actively infected in Saarland.
Of the patients suffering from the virus, 210 are currently treated as inpatients - 52 of them in intensive care.
