According to the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee in the region, a criminal case was opened against a 45-year-old resident of Bryukhovetsky District on suspicion of providing a service that did not meet safety requirements and resulted in the death of six citizens as a result of an accident (part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia).

The Investigative Committee reported that the suspect, together with unidentified persons, provided paid services for the transportation of citizens in a small-tonnage Gazel car belonging to her.

“At the same time, the defendant knew that the vehicle was not equipped with seats for passengers and seat belts,” the UK said.

The regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the police opened a case on violation of traffic rules against the driver of the gazelle.

“The Investigation Department of the OMVD of Russia for the Vyselkovsky District has opened a criminal case against the 19-year-old driver of a gazelle on the grounds of a crime under Part 5 of Art.

264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of the road and the operation of vehicles") ", - said the department.

Earlier, the prosecutor's office of the Krasnodar Territory organized an inspection after the collision of the gazelle and KamAZ in the Vyselkovsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, which killed six people. 

As reported by the publication "Yuga.ru", the "gazelle" that got into an accident in the Krasnodar Territory was not intended for passenger transportation, nevertheless, 15 workers were traveling in it.
