A court in the US state of Pennsylvania rejected a lawsuit filed by outgoing President Donald Trump's campaign to appeal a ruling on voting violations, which backtracked on Thursday's stance.

The call included the cancellation of thousands of votes cast by mail, and the postponement of the state's approval of the counting results.

The unanimous ruling, written by a judge appointed by Trump himself;

A setback for the outgoing president's efforts to prolong the approval of several states in the counting results, and to question the elections.

The ruling stated that the accusations made by the Trump campaign of election violations lack evidence.

On Tuesday, the final results of the ballot count in Pennsylvania showed US President-elect Joe Biden's lead by 81,000 votes among 6.9 million ballot papers, after Monday's confirmation of his victory in Michigan.

It is noteworthy that in 2016, Trump won in this state over Hillary Clinton by 44,000 votes.

Trump retreated

For his part, Trump said in a tweet on Friday that his rival, Joe Biden, may enter the White House only if he can prove that the 80 million votes he says he won in the elections are all legitimate and not fraudulent.

Trump added that the massive fraud that occurred in Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Milwaukee shows that Biden faces a huge problem that cannot be solved.

That tweet represents a retraction of Trump from what he made in a tweet yesterday, in which he confirmed that he would leave the White House if the electoral college votes for the Democratic President-elect Joe Biden, in a statement that is the closest to his admission of defeat.

Trump added - in an interview with US forces abroad on the occasion of Thanksgiving yesterday - saying, "But I think that there will be a lot of things that may happen between now and January 20," next.

The US President renewed his doubts about the election results, and said that the voting machines were affected by problems and that the votes were transferred in more than one place to Biden, "as if we were in a third world country," adding that Biden did not get 80 million votes, and that the numbers are false and the elections are forged.

The electoral college is scheduled to meet on December 14th, and the president-elect is expected to be installed on January 20.

transfer of power

While President-elect Joe Biden remains silent about Trump's statements and tweets, the political transition process is proceeding smoothly, according to his transitional team, which will be able to use millions of dollars in preparations for the presidency on January 20.

Biden said Tuesday that his team was able to coordinate with the Trump administration on the Corona pandemic, and plans to distribute vaccines and national security files, since he received the green light on Monday for the official transition process.

Biden's transition team said it had made significant progress since the General Services Agency agreed to initiate the relocation process, and added that there would be new announcements for senior positions in his administration in the coming weeks.

Biden presented his foreign policy and his national security team last Tuesday, as part of official moves towards the White House, after he defeated Republican President Donald Trump.
