Eitorf (dpa / lnw) - A huge Advent wreath lights up in the stately park, a Santa Claus face shines from the tower of the property: Countless lamps and strings of light create a pre-Christmas mood at an old manufacturer's villa in Eitorf.
For around 20 years, the Baumgart family has put a lot of effort into decorating their house in time for Advent - "and it has grown a little more every year," says Barbara Baumgart.
In the city of over 20,000 inhabitants in the Rhein-Sieg district, this is always a small attraction, many citizens enjoy the light decorations and therefore come to Villa Boge, says Barbara Baumgart.
"Especially in this year when everything seems so gloomy, we can hopefully cheer up other people."
