A report by the "Associated Press" said that North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un, has taken drastic and unjust steps to combat the Corona virus and the economic crisis.

The North Korean leader ordered the execution of at least two people, a ban on fishing at sea, and the closure of the capital, Pyongyang, according to a South Korean intelligence agent.

A North Korean lawmaker who attended a special event organized by the intelligence on the northern neighbor said that Kim is acting "excessive anger" and taking "irrational measures" regarding the epidemic and its economic impact.

South Korean intelligence revealed that North Korea executed a prominent cashier in the capital, Pyongyang, last month, after he was held responsible for the low exchange rates.

Last August, North Korea executed an official for violating government regulations on products imported from abroad, according to the "Associated Press."

North Korean authorities also banned fishing and the production of salt in the sea, in order to prevent infection of sea water with the Corona virus, as they believe.

North Korea had closed the capital, Pyongyang, and the North "Jagang" county, for fear of the spread of Corona in it.

And at the beginning of this month, the North Korean government imposed a general closure in several regions, after discovering the entry of unauthorized goods and foreign currencies.

It is reported that the Corona epidemic has forced North Korea to close its borders with China, which is its largest trading partner and aid donor.
