This Friday, the latest coronavirus report shows 51,914 dead, while France falls below 30,000 hospitalizations and 4,000 serious cases in intensive care.

Some 12,459 new cases of coronavirus have been detected since the last tally. 

According to figures published by the government site, France has this Friday 51,914 dead from the coronavirus, or 957 more since the last score.

But the reflux of the second wave is confirmed with a further drop in hospital pressure.

Decrease in hospitalizations and resuscitations

There are now 28,648 hospitalizations for Covid-19 across France, or 662 less compared to the report published Thursday evening.

A trend also observed on resuscitation since 3,883 serious cases are identified on the eve of the weekend of reopening of shops, or 135 less over the last 24 hours.

Over the last seven days, 10,172 people have been admitted to hospital, including 1,557 placed in intensive care, specifies Public Health France.

11.7% test positivity

Some 12,459 new cases of coronavirus have been detected since the last scoring (10,920 via PCR and 1,539 via antigenic tests).

The test positivity rate now stands at 11.7%.
