To support the vaccination strategy against Covid-19, Emmanuel Macron said Tuesday evening that a "collective of citizens" will be created.

The stake is all the more important as the mistrust vis-à-vis vaccines is particularly marked in France.

The first vaccines against Covid-19 will arrive in France at the end of December or at the beginning of January, the head of state promised on Tuesday evening.

And to involve the French more in their deployment, Emmanuel Macron also mentioned the establishment of a "collective of citizens" which will make it possible to involve the population.

But for the moment, little information has filtered out as to the form that this assembly could take.

This collective could be made up of 150 citizens drawn by lot on the model of the Climate Convention, as well as smaller panels of 20 or 30 people, as already organized by the Ethics Committee on assisted reproduction, for example. .

The idea, in any case, is to create a place for debate in which citizens' questions about vaccines and the virus can clearly be expressed.

One thing is certain, the organization will have to be done very quickly, ideally before the first vaccinations.
