The UAE opens the "Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed field hospital" in Guinea to help it face "Covid-19"
In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Guinean Minister of Health, Dr. Remi Lama, yesterday inaugurated the "Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Field Hospital" in the capital, Conakry, in the presence of representatives of the United Arab Emirates and the Guinea Alumina Company. The Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed field hospital was completely built by Tomoh Healthcare and Weatherhaven, with the support of Guinea Alumina Corporation, within a record time of 30 days.

On his part, Guinean Minister of Health Dr. Remi Lama said: “On behalf of His Excellency the President of Guinea, Professor Alpha Condé and the Guinean people, I thank the leadership of the UAE for its funding to build the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed field hospital and all concerned parties for their participation in the completion of the project, along with their partners to build This field hospital is fast and professional. "
He added that there is a need to take rapid and large-scale measures to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital will help us to do so by strengthening our ability to respond to the epidemic and improving the recovery process on the economic and social levels.
In his turn, the head of the UAE delegation, a member of the Board of Directors of Guinea Alumina Corporation, Khaled Al-Rashdi, said: “We are here to support the Republic of Guinea and its people amid the difficulties and challenges resulting from the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic ..
