During the autumn, a completely new facility was built in Älvsbyn.

According to Polarbröd, the new plant will be able to produce around 60 clamps per minute.

The production rate means that twelve of the employees who were notified earlier this autumn will get their jobs back.

- Today, we all at Polarbröd and in Älvsbyn are happy that the production of Polarklämmor has started so quickly again, just three months after the devastating fire.

It would not have been possible without all our competent employees.

We care about Älvsbyn and will continue to do everything we can to come back, says Karin Bodin, CEO of Polarbröd in a press release.

The frozen sandwich to be manufactured in the plant was the first product launched by the company.

It was on August 24 that Polarbröd's factory in Älvsbyn burned to the ground.

Between 500 and 700 people were affected by the severe fire and since then the company has repeatedly said that the factory will be rebuilt.

In total, around 300 million has been invested in the new bread factory.
