The owner of the Beitar Jerusalem football team, Moshe Hogeg, in Dubai signed an agreement with an international company to represent the club in the expected deal to sell shares to representatives of the ruling family in the UAE.

Israeli websites stated that Jogeg is seeking to sell 49% of the shares of Beitar Jerusalem Club, and quoted the concerned person as saying that he hopes this deal will contribute to giving a boost to the team, and confirmed that the process may take place in the next few days for a huge financial fee.

Beitar fans are known to be the most racist in Israel, and they have previously raised anti-Palestinian and Arab slogans during matches, including "Death to the Arabs."

These fans recently released songs containing insulting phrases of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in conjunction with the crisis of offensive cartoons that have returned to the fore from France in recent weeks.

Israeli websites stated that the Emirati interest in football in Israel will not be limited to Jerusalem's Beitar Club, and extends to seeking to invest in sponsorship or acquisition deals that include a number of teams such as Maccabi Haifa and Haifa Tel Aviv.

The UAE Professional Football League and its Israeli counterpart recently signed a memorandum of understanding, the first of its kind, in the latest forms of normalization between the two countries, following the conclusion of similar agreements on the political and economic levels.

On August 13, the UAE and Israel reached an agreement to normalize relations between them, which was signed on September 15 in Washington.
