Starting in 2019, Zhao Zhubin uploaded a large number of photos of suspected sex crimes in the "Doctor's Room" and blackmailed the victims.

  On March 25, 2020, Zhao Zhubin was transferred to the prosecution for review and prosecution.

South Korean prosecutors detained Zhao Zhubin on April 13 for being suspected of 14 crimes.

In October, South Korean prosecutors demanded that Zhao Zhubin be sentenced to life imprisonment and 45 years of wearing electronic anklets.

  After investigation, as many as 149 civil servants were investigated and prosecuted by the South Korean police for digital crimes involving "Room N" and "Doctor Room".

  Earlier, according to the national government inspection data received from the National Police Agency, members of the Administrative Security Committee of the Korean National Assembly stated that the Digital Sexual Crime Special Investigation Headquarters had investigated and dealt with 149 civil servants.
