Hamburg (dpa / lno) - A stranger shot at the window of an apartment building on the Sternschanze in Hamburg.
According to initial findings, the 64-year-old resident heard the shot late Tuesday evening and found the projectile on the floor shortly afterwards, the police said.
Accordingly, the ball had penetrated the frame of the living room window.
There were no injuries.
The police later found a cartridge case in front of the house.
Although the officers searched for the shooter with more than a dozen patrol cars, they were initially unsuccessful.
