A. Gelebart - 20 Minutes

The Assize Court of Meurthe-et-Moselle has ruled.

A forties was sentenced Tuesday to 18 years in prison for "murder".

He had killed his mistress with 82 stab wounds in January 2018 in Laxou, near Nancy.

The jurors did not follow the requisitions of Advocate General Philippe Renzi.

He had asked for a sentence not less than 20 years' imprisonment.

At the hearing as during the investigation, David Bousch, 46, admitted the murder but denied the premeditation.

For one of the civil parties, Maître Alain Behr acknowledged that the absence of premeditation had emerged from the proceedings of the Assize Court.

"I'm going to plant it"

On January 9, 2018, after a sexual relation which was to be the last, the accused had sent his companion an SMS in which he said to her about his mistress: "My love, I only see one solution, I will plant, I will end up in jail too bad ”.

Immediately, the latter had replied: "No, don't do that".

But he had ignored it and returned: "I love you never forget it but I will never be able to live in peace again".

According to David Bousch, the murder was committed after a last sexual encounter which he had accepted because his mistress, aged 43, had promised to leave him alone afterwards.

But according to him, she changed her mind and threatened to attack her relatives.

It was in his eyes the word too many, which had made him crack and start kicking with a knife he owned.
