Chelsea, England, and Seville, Spain, have clinched the pass to the UEFA Champions League final, after the fourth round of Group E clashes on Tuesday.

Chelsea snatched the pass thanks to a late goal by Frenchman Olivier Giroud in the last minutes of the match against Rennes.

Chelsea advanced with Callum Hudson-Odoi's goal in the 22nd minute, and Serho Geraci equalized in the 85th minute for Rennes, before Giroud scored the guests' second goal in the final moments of the match.

In another match in the same group, Seville came back from the Russian Krasnodar Stadium 2-1, and Ivan Rakitic scored the first goal for the Spanish club in the fourth minute, and Souza Campos equalized for the Russian team in the 56th minute. Mounir El-Haddadi decided the confrontation in favor of Seville with the goal of progress in the 90th minute.

Chelsea and Seville share the top of the group with 10 points, 9 points behind Rennes and Krasnodar.

The Spanish club will host its English counterpart next week in a summit to resolve the conflict at the top of the group.
