“I recommend that Emily (Murphy) and her team do whatever it takes with the original protocols, and I told my team to do the same,” he said on Twitter.

Trump also added that Murphy was "harassed and threatened." 

In addition, Trump said that his team will continue to fight.

“Our cause is persistently continuing, we will continue to fight and I believe that we will win,” he said. 

Earlier, CNN, referring to Murphy's letter, reported that the US General Services Administration had notified Biden's headquarters of the readiness of the US administration to begin the formal transfer of power.
