INTERVIEW

The images sparked a heated debate.

Monday evening in Paris, the police intervened to dislodge a migrant camp installed on the Place de la République.

The violent method of the police sparked an uproar, to the point that the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin demanded a report from the Paris police prefect.

Invited Tuesday on Europe 1, the European deputy Yannick Jadot reacted to this dismantling, by denouncing "a liberticidal drift" of the State and by referring to article 24 of the law "Global security".
