November 27 is the big read day Black Friday.

A day that is usually e-shopped a lot, but which this year is expected to generate even more package orders due to the corona restrictions discouraging people from visiting shopping centers and stores.

- Everyone thinks that it will be "all time high" when it comes to packages.

We are ready and equipped, says trader Anders Eklöf.

Corona-secured delivery point

He owns a grocery store in Färjestaden with a post office.

They have now started corona safe to prepare for Black Friday and the Christmas shopping.

The security measures taken by the store are that they have arranged a separate queue for the post office, prepared to open two extra delivery points in connection with the existing one and reduced their café operations.

- The staff will act as congestion guards and ensure that people keep a distance of 1.5 meters between each other in the queue, says Anders Eklöf.

High pressure

According to him, the days around Black Friday are the biggest when it comes to mail matters.

It starts with high pressure the Monday after Black Friday and then the pressure continues during the week.

Now the store has taken measures for the big package boom, but Anders Eklöf announces that they will also communicate which days and times there is lower pressure so that customers who are still worried can come then instead.

- I urge everyone to follow the advice and restrictions that apply.

Keep your distance, spray and wash your hands, and understand that it may take a little longer than under normal conditions.
