Gelsenkirchen (dpa) - At the crisis-ridden FC Schalke 04, a dispute on the pitch caused an early end of training.

Striker Vedad Ibisevic and assistant coach Naldo clashed during the session on Sunday.

This is reported by the TV broadcaster Sky.

But there were no fights, but they still had to be separated from professionals from the Bundesliga club.

The trigger should have been loud instructions from the ex-professional Naldo.

The training was then canceled on the day after the 2-0 defeat against VfL Wolfsburg.

Previously, according to the report, there should have been a dispute in the dressing room between head coach Manuel Baum and players who were annoyed about their substitution the day before.

A club spokesman did not want to “generally comment on something like that” when asked.

For Schalke, the defeat on Saturday was the 24th consecutive league game without a win.

But the fans, who are currently not allowed to attend the games, want to show their solidarity at least via the news service Twitter.

Supporters are called upon to shoot and broadcast a video clip with a “positive message in the Schalke jersey”.

The initiators want to show "that we fans continue to stand by the team in this difficult situation."
