Schwarzheide (dpa / bb) - Four people were injured in a rear-end collision on the federal highway 13 between Schwarzheide and Ruhland (Oberspreewald-Lausitz).
A pickup truck crashed into a truck semitrailer on Monday morning.
Three men between the ages of 22 and 67 suffered minor injuries, and a 48-year-old was seriously injured by rescue workers.
Since liquid had leaked from a vehicle, the road in the direction of Dresden had to be cleaned, as the police said.
That made for a long traffic jam.
Traffic was opened again around noon.
