Luminous garlands hang over the pedestrian streets, a mistletoe hangs on Västgötaspången and in the trees along the Fyrisån light loops and red balls coexist.
The Christmas lights are now on in central Uppsala, but like so much else during the corona pandemic, the inauguration was canceled.
Instead, the municipality has promised more lighting on Klostergränd, and will review how Stadsträdgården can get a light boost.
