Münster (dpa / lnw) - After an accident on the A1 with three trucks involved and several injured, the motorway near Ascheberg in the direction of Dortmund was closed on Monday afternoon.
The police expect significant disabilities until the early evening hours, as a spokeswoman said at noon.

For a previously unknown cause, three trucks collided with each other in the right-hand lane and the hard shoulder at around 11.30 a.m.
Several injured, including drivers of the articulated lorries, were taken to hospital.
