According to him, the situation is worsening in all respects.

The Prime Minister of Latvia said that hospitals are overloaded and the number of patients is growing. 

“It is necessary to look towards the strengthening of restrictions,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

It is noted that on November 24 a joint meeting of the Latvian Cabinet of Ministers and the Crisis Management Council will be held, at which a decision on further actions will be taken.

On November 6, the Latvian government declared a state of emergency in the country due to COVID-19.
