Hamburg (dpa / lno) - The bank manager Matthias Schellenberg becomes a new partner of the Hamburg Warburg Bank.

The 56-year-old will be responsible for Markets and Institutional Banking and Corporate Finance from December, the financial institution announced on Monday.

In the management of the private bank he will stand alongside the partners Joachim Olearius, Peter Rentrop-Schmid and Patrick Tessmann.

"In Matthias Schellenberg we have gained an experienced and proven specialist for us," explained Olearius.

Until June of this year, Schellenberg was reportedly CEO of the private bank Merck Finck.

Before that, he worked at KPMG, Commerz Financial Products, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Pioneer Investments, ING Investment Management and UBS Germany, among others.
