Aachen (dpa / lnw) - In Aachen, an amusement arcade operator was exposed that was open despite the Corona Protection Ordinance.

Employees of the public order office noticed a lively number of visitors to the arcade, which actually has to remain closed during the partial lockdown.

"The potential gamblers behaved extremely conspiratorially before they were given access to the arcade on a previously agreed sign," said a police report on Monday.

On Monday evening, the public order office and officials from the Aachener Einsatzhundschaft therefore carried out a joint inspection.

According to the police, the officers found two people in the rooms of the arcade, and all the playground equipment was in operation.

"For the operator it must have been an expensive gamble," said the police.

Proceedings have been initiated against the operator and those present.
