This was stated by the special envoy of the World Health Organization David Nabarro in an interview with the Swiss media company CH Media.

According to him, the reaction of European countries to the second wave was incomplete.

Nabarro believes that European countries have missed the opportunity to build the necessary infrastructure to fight COVID-19 in the summer months, after they took control of the first wave.

“And now they have a second wave.

If they do not build the necessary infrastructure now, they will have a third wave early next year, ”Badener Tagblatt quotes the WHO special envoy.

Earlier, WHO called on G20 countries to play a leadership role in the fight against the pandemic.
