The facts took place Sunday in Mulhouse.

This Friday, two men were indicted for having struck and stabbed an amateur football player after a forbidden match in the sensitive district of Bourtzwiller, in Mulhouse, we learned from a source close to the case.

The 28-year-old victim was stabbed in the stomach after an argument arose during the soccer match.

Death threats

According to testimonies, the man, who had head butted an opponent, was insulted, even threatened with death, by a player of the opposing team and some supporters.

At the end of the meeting, this group had caught up with the victim in the car and the opposing player had taken out a knife and would have stuck it in his stomach, before fleeing.

The victim, she then took refuge with a friend.

Her vital prognosis having been committed, she was quickly operated on in digestive surgery.

Four people were arrested, but two were released at the end of their custody.
