Munich (dpa / lby) - The demonstration announced by the "lateral thinking" movement against the Corona policy on the Theresienwiese in Munich did not take place on Saturday.

As a police spokesman announced, there was "a few people", but the people had been sent off.

The organizers had registered a rally with up to 30,000 participants on the Theresienwiese for Saturday.

The city of Munich prohibited this and was confirmed by the administrative court on Friday.

In contrast, an approved "lateral thinking" demonstration took place in Kempten on Saturday in the Illerstadion. According to the police, around 1200 people came to the rally. Incidents were initially not known. About 200 people took part in a counter-demonstration, a spokesman said.
