His Highness’s tweet came after the park, Rola Al-Khatib, posted a tweet on Twitter, in which she revealed the story that happened with her, noting the concern of state institutions for people, and expressing her hope that other countries, which suffer from corruption and conflicts in the region, will follow suit.
His Highness also thanked Rola for her beautiful story.

The director general of the municipality, Dawood Al-Hajri, told Al-Emarat Al-Youm that the injured bird is known as the "rock Egret", and has suffered fractures in its left and right legs and damage to the surrounding tissues, stressing that it will be able to fly again after its recovery.
He added: “The implementation of animal welfare programs in the municipality is supervised by a technically specialized veterinary team trained to use scientific knowledge and skills to protect it, ensure compliance with standards of welfare, promote public health and community safety, prevent and alleviate animal suffering, preserve animal resources and advance veterinary knowledge.” .

And she continued, "Animal care and welfare is one of the basic functions of the Veterinary Division's services, in accordance with the protocols and recommendations of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) regarding animal welfare."
The municipality's policies, projects and programs outline the considerations to be followed for animal welfare.
Al-Otaibi explained that "the Veterinary Services Department in the municipality has a clear policy regarding the application of animal welfare standards, whether farm animals or pets, designed based on best practices and international procedures."
