He added: “The implementation of animal welfare programs in the municipality is supervised by a technically specialized veterinary team trained to use scientific knowledge and skills to protect it, ensure compliance with standards of welfare, promote public health and community safety, prevent and alleviate animal suffering, preserve animal resources and advance veterinary knowledge.” .
