The current progress of the box girder erection has exceeded a thousand times, and the tunnel excavation has exceeded 70% of the total. .

Next year, the construction in front of the Guinan Railway Station will gradually shift to the construction behind the station.

The Guinan high-speed rail is expected to open at the end of 2023, by which time the travel time from Nanning to Guiyang will be shortened to more than two hours.

  The Guinan High-speed Railway passes through more than 30 ethnic minority areas such as Maonan, Yao, Buyi and Shui. It is one of the 16 key railway projects for poverty alleviation during the 13th Five-Year Plan of the country. It is also the railway construction of the National Railway Group Targeted poverty alleviation projects in desertification areas.

  The Guinan High-speed Railway is located in a typical karst mountainous area, which is extremely difficult to construct. The bridge-to-tunnel ratio exceeds 90%. At present, tens of thousands of builders are working together to tackle tough problems, and the project is progressing smoothly.

Since the start of construction, Zhou Junwei and his colleagues have often traveled to and from the Guinan high-speed railway construction site.

At the beginning of the construction, he led a team to walk from the small road into a site for survey. It took more than 8 hours to go back and forth on the 6-kilometer mountain road.

Zhou Junwei said: “I thought that repairing the road is too important to the fellow villagers.” While doing a good job of daily project construction management, each participating unit coordinated the construction needs and the needs of the masses, and newly modified 88 construction access roads. , A total of 165.5 kilometers, connecting various villages in the mountain col, unblocked travel conditions, and helping people in poor areas improve their production and living conditions.

  Since the start of the Guinan High-speed Railway, more than 7,000 local laborers have been employed, wages have been over 68 million yuan, 1,900 local equipment has been rented, over 125 million yuan has been paid, and local production and living materials have been purchased for a total of 910 million yuan for the people along the route.   Zhou Junwei introduced that the biggest dividend is still after the opening of the Guinan High-speed Railway. This is the first high-speed railway in Guangxi with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. By then, the travel time from Nanning to Guiyang will be shortened to more than two hours. Huanjiang, Jinchengjiang and Duan along the line , Mashan, Wuming and other old revolutionary areas, as well as ethnic minority areas will enter the era of high-speed rail.
