He added: “A specialized work team has been formed and distributed to separate and studied areas to avoid leaving any loophole that the weak of souls might escape from the grip of the law, and legal procedures have been taken with the issuance of permission from the Dubai Public Prosecution to arrest and search the accused, in addition to inspecting their vehicles and their residence.”
He confirmed that the fruit and vegetable merchant came to the sea port and received the "fridge" container and unloaded the fruits and vegetables in the market, but he was unaware that the gang exploited his container and placed at the bottom of it 123 kilograms of crystal drug after hiding it in one of the secret bunkers before reaching the state in a professional and accurate manner.
He continued: The "refrigerator" was subjected to intense and careful monitoring by the work team until one night the policemen sensed suspicious movements by three people who came to the place of the "refrigerator", and decided to open it and empty its poisonous content, so they were arrested red-handed, pointing to The work team courageously responded to the attempted escape of the gang members, and they were controlled thanks to the courage and the rapid deployment of the work teams.
He pointed out that the defendants reported that they were receiving instructions from their leader in an Asian country, as he asked them to remove the quantity and hide it for several days until new information was received on how to deliver it to another person, confirming that they carried out the operation in exchange for getting 12 thousand dirhams, which was enough to put them behind bars. .
