This is stated in a message on the website of the Latvian Foreign Ministry.

“Based on the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia, as well as in agreement with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and Lithuania, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics decided to introduce an indefinite ban on entry to Latvia for 26 citizens of the Republic of Belarus,” the department said.

It is noted that the ban was imposed on the Minister of Information of Belarus, the Minister of Sports and Tourism and other officials.

In turn, the message on the website of the Estonian Foreign Ministry says that on November 20, “an additional list of 28 Belarusian officials who are prohibited from entering” was published in connection with the sanctions.

“Simultaneously with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have also published a list of persons who are prohibited from entering,” the message says.

Earlier it became known that the EU intends to impose sanctions against Belarusian companies.
