Her mother Anita fell ill with covid-19 at the end of March.
Anita received care at Falu Hospital.
After a few days, she died in the suites of, among other things, covid-19 - one of the first covid deaths in Dalarna.
The daughter Alexandra got to see her mother when she was cared for at the infection clinic at Falu hospital.
She remembers the last time.
- Mother had difficulty breathing.
She was strangled to death, says Alexandra.
Reported the incident to IVO
Alexandra believes that the mother did not receive the care she should have been entitled to and has reported the incident to IVO, the Swedish Health and Care Inspectorate.
- We take this seriously.
It is the chief physicians who look at it and analyze it to see what we can learn from it, says Karin Stikå Mjöberg, Deputy Regional Director.
