Thabet Al-Tarifi, Director General of the Sharjah City Municipality, Assistant Director-General, representatives of the strategic partners of the Sharjah Police General Command, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, and a number of volunteer employees in the municipality participated in these campaigns and visits.
The Director of the Sharjah Municipality, Thabet Al-Tarifi, confirmed that the municipality continues its campaigns and inspection visits on a daily basis during the morning and evening periods to monitor all violators living in areas designated for families and evacuate them immediately and cut off services to housing with violating engineering divisions and housing that is witnessing overcrowding of workers in violation of the preventive measures And precaution, in light of the current circumstances, pointing out that the industrial zones have been designated for workers ’accommodations, especially the workers of contracting and construction companies, with the possibility of housing single employees in the commercial areas in accordance with the conditions set for that.
Al-Tarifi explained that the municipality, in cooperation with the General Command of the Sharjah Police and the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, carried out more than 1915 inspection campaigns on violating housing in various areas of the city of Sharjah, during which it detected violating engineering divisions and random electrical connections, housing lacking hygiene, security, safety and good ventilation, and other housing Transferring it to car maintenance workshops and others as stores for some shops, indicating that these campaigns resulted in the evacuation of more than 7,000 violators, and will continue and continue to cover all areas of the city and evacuate violators from them.
The Director General of Sharjah City Municipality praised the great role provided by the Sharjah Police General Command and the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, and the cooperation with the municipality to implement the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and achieve the objectives of the inspection campaigns to maintain the security, privacy, safety and comfort of families and families, and to enhance security and safety in those areas.
